Breaking News: Sonoma County supervisors vote to pursue financing program for energy-saving projects

SANTA ROSA, Sept. 16, 2008 – The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors this morning voted unanimously to move forward with a plan to create opt-in assessment-based financing for energy-efficiency and renewable energy projects on existing commercial and residential properties, with all the supervisors and several groups of stakeholders advocating prompt action.
